We offer rapid access OHIP consultation with a valid healthcard. We provide skin biopsy for diagnostic purposes and surgical removal of pre-cancerous, and cancerous lesions. Please note that removal of benign and harmless lesions are not covered by OHIP.

Dr MAXINE YAT WING WONG MD, MRCP (U.K.), FRCPC (DERM)
Dr Wong is the clinical director and owner of MW Skin Concept. She is a board certified dermatologist in Canada.
Dr Wong completed her medical degree in Queen’s University of Belfast, United Kingdom in 1995. She went onto her internship and general internal medicine training, and obtained her MRCP certification in 1998. She finished her dermatology residency program in England in 2005 and then followed her husband to Toronto. She completed a 2 years fellowship in Toronto Western Hospital and passed her Canadian board examination in Dermatology in 2008.
From 2008 to 2010, she was employed as a full-time staff dermatologist at Toronto Western Hospital. In addition, she was an assistant professor at University of Toronto and the co-director for the undergraduate dermatology program. She completed her Master Teacher Program with the University of Toronto in 2009. She is now working in the community but continues to be affiliated with Toronto Western Hospital.
Dr Wong can speak fluent Cantonese and English, and conversational Mandarin.
She is a member of the Canadian Dermatology Association, Ontario Medical Association and Canadian Medical Association.
DR SARAH KWAN, MD, CCFP
Dr. Kwan has Special Focus in Dermatology. She attended medical school at Western University in London, ON. She then went on to complete her family medicine residency at Queen’s University in Kingston, ON, and earned her CCFP designation. Since then, she has relocated back to Toronto, her home.
Dr. Kwan has always had a special interest in the field of dermatology as she enjoys the variety and complexity of dermatological conditions. Her practice is varied with a particular interest in the management of eczema and acne. She is completing the Diploma of Dermatology from Cardiff University. Dr Kwan also practices at the University of Toronto Family Health Team.
Dr. Kwan is fluent in English and Cantonese, and able to speak conversational Mandarin.
